Northview Church Family,

Just a friendly reminder that this Sunday’s services will be online only! Join us online for live stream services at 9:30am and 6:00pm. Recordings of both services will remain available for viewing at any time.

We have two great ways to watch online!

  1. On the Northview Church website, click “Watch”, or follow this link:
  2. On Facebook, join the live stream where a member of our pastoral team will be online to interact with live comments. You can follow the Northview Church Facebook page here:

In response to the restrictions on large group gatherings, group activities at the church have either moved online or are not meeting at this time. Stay tuned for additional updates in the weeks ahead.

Most importantly… we have a tremendous opportunity to “be the church” at this unique time in history. Please make a special effort to reach out to those who are impacted or isolated as a result of COVID-19. We will share more about this opportunity during Sunday’s services.

See you online!

Northview Church Family,

With Governor Burgum’s order for North Dakota public schools to be closed this week, we are also making the following adjustments for the week of March 16-22:

Sunday morning and evening services will be online! Please join us for a live stream at 9:30am and 6:00pm. You can also watch a replay of either service at any time. Live streaming is available on Facebook and our website using either of the links below:

Youth and Canvas services will also be streamed live this week! Follow the Facebook pages below for more information:

AWANA, Life Groups and other weekday activities at the church are being cancelled this week. We encourage families to continue with AWANA lessons at home and stay up to date with resources at our Northview Kids Facebook page below:

We would love to hear from you, and we want to pray for you and your family. Please utilize the numerous communication channels available to keep in touch and send us your prayer requests. A few of these are highlighted below:

We encourage everyone to focus on staying healthy – physically, emotionally and spiritually. At a time when our nation is experiencing many changes, we place our trust in God who remains unchangeable.

“I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’” Psalm 91:2 (NIV)

Northview Church Family,

The health and wellbeing of our congregation is always a high priority. We are actively monitoring recommendations from the CDC and regional health officials regarding coronavirus (COVID-19) and seasonal flu concerns. We are also taking steps to boost our routine procedures in order to help keep our facility safe and clean.

At this time, weekend services and weekday activities will continue as planned. If it becomes necessary to move our services exclusively online, we will send additional updates as needed.

The following are some of the precautions being taken at Northview to help minimize the spread of cold and flu viruses:

  • In place of handshakes and hugs, we’re asking everyone to offer a friendly smile and wave when greeting each other.
  • Door handles, sinks and surfaces are being wiped down regularly and often.
  • Hand sanitizing stations remain available at various locations throughout the building.
  • Toys in children’s classrooms will continue to be wiped down during and after classes. Some toys are being removed from classrooms to assist in this process.
  • Upcoming Chi Alpha mission trips to Mexico and Fort Yates have been cancelled, in cooperation with travel policies implemented by local universities.

As a friendly reminder, here are some ways you can help keep everyone healthy and safe:

  • If you or another member of your family isn’t feeling well, you’re invited to stay home and watch our services online (
  • If one of your children isn’t feeling well, please keep them home until they are illness-free and fever-free for at least 24 hours.
  • Wash your hands frequently, for at least 20 seconds and avoid touching your face.

We are implementing a task force to boost the frequency of cleaning through the building. If you are interested in assisting in this effort, please reply to this email or contact the church office. Everyone’s help is greatly appreciated!

Please join us in praying for those impacted by coronavirus, and for God’s peace to rest upon our community, nation and world. We know God is in control, and we can trust in his goodness!
