One way to help you Begin is to read your Bible daily.
Ready to BEGIN?
Congratulations on wanting to BEGIN growing in your faith.
We are excited for you, and we want to share some helpful information.
Begin: Practical Steps
Congratulations on wanting to BEGIN growing in your faith. I am excited for you and am sending this note with some helpful information.
My goal is to suggest some practical steps to help you grow in your life with Jesus.
Whether you are beginning a relationship with Jesus for the first time or picking up where you left off, I want you to experience God’s purpose for you and your life.
Connections: Relationships will help you – a lot!
People who are already following Jesus will understand your desire to know Him better. They have been where you are and will be eager to help you. With that in mind, start coming to church and also seek out a Life Group. You can do this by checking out our Life Groups at: https://www.northview.life/groups.
Respond: Each of us is unique.
Our past experiences, successes, failures, family backgrounds and spiritual experiences have made us who we are. God can use all those things to build a new future with you. Maybe you have some questions. If so, please respond to this email and we will get back to you. firstname.lastname@example.org
Take a moment to think about the following Bible verse. In your own words, ask God to guide you.
"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
Have a great day.
Dr. Bob Ona
Ready to Dig In?
I hope you had a great week and have made a step or two toward getting to know some people at Northview.
My goal in sending you this note is to give you a suggestion on how to read the Bible for all it’s worth. Your main source of spiritual food will become the Bible, as you read it daily and take away at least one thought that you can think about for the remainder of the day.
Consider which version of the Bible is most understandable for you. I recommend having a plan for reading the Bible in a systematic way. Both finding a version that fits you and plugging into a reading plan can be found at the free One Year Bible App: https://oneyearbibleonline.com/daily-oyb/
There is a Bible reading for every day of the year that allows you to read through four different parts of the Bible. You are also able to easily sample different Bible versions to find one that you like the best.
If you miss a day or more of the readings, I suggest that you avoid trying to make up what you missed. Instead, go to the current day’s Bible reading and go from there.
Maybe you have some questions. If so, please respond to this email and we will get back to you: email@example.com
Consider the following verse from the New King James Version (NKJV):
"Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path." Psalm 119:105
May God bless you and guide you,
Dr. Bob Ona
I’m sending you this final email as you consider how to BEGIN a great spiritual walk with Jesus.
First, I want to remind you that only Jesus is perfect. Cut yourself some slack if, while finding your way, you’ve made mistakes. Ask God to help you get up and pick up right where you left off in your spiritual walk.
With that, let me recommend your next step. Join us in an experience we call SQUARE ONE. SQUARE ONE provides a relational setting for 35 minutes on a Sunday morning. It gives you a chance to get to know us better, and allows us to know you better as well. You will wind up knowing more about the Northview culture and any opportunities for involvement which might interest you.
It’s easy to sign up online for the SQUARE ONE experience. You will find everything you need at: https://www.northview.life/square-one
Feel free to respond to us via email: firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get back to you.
It feels good to grow spiritually!
"…grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen." II Peter 3:18 NKJV
God bless you,
Dr. Bob Ona
